They made sure that the United would hold all our things showed 2 different units at different locations to see which would be the better fit the locations are secure and units are installed with motion activated sensors that call your phone to verify it is you at the United and if not the facility is then notified...the insurance I feel should be optional but if you add renters insurance to your auto insurance you can avoid this cost and actually is the cheaper option...but all in all I'm very pleased with choosing Santa Fe Storage in Santa Fe TX...they also offer U-Haul rentals to take care of all your moving and storage needs at one location
