Public Storage - Austin - 700 Victor Street

Very pleased. The facility is clean and secure. Leah was great signing us in and showing us our unit and how the gates and elevators worked with our secure codes. The registration process was simple and most of it I was able to do ahead of time online.

Tragedy hit me when I least expected it. I needed to move my belongings ASAP! It took only 10min searching on web and talking to customer service reps on the phone. That I knew public storage was right for me. Yes, I used them before but I didn't do the research I did this time. I was WOW'D by what the property offers for anyone. Huge elevators, climate control, large utility carts to carry everything so you don't break your back. On top of the amenities, they had an excellent manager on duty, ROBIN, who really made me feel like family. Hearing me vent about what happened to me and uplifting my mood, reminding me that public storage was the 1st right step to getting back on track. I knew which unit size I wanted but it was only after she showed me the virtual display I locked in my decision. It's a really cool and realistic feature to have during a move, no matter how much you are a "moving expert". ROBIN recommended me a great product and cheap insurance to ensure my belongings remained in great condition. Walked me through step by step with using codes for doors, gate, elevator and showing me the exactly how to open the lift door to my unit as well. ROBIN gave me clear perfect instructions to where my unit was. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THE CONNIVENCE OPTION FOR YOUR UNIT! Being closer to the elevator saved me time and it's only 1$ more. The moment I stepped foot inside the lobby to meet ROBIN things just kept getting better. I didn't feel scammed or like I was a dollar sign. Also the Victoria St. in Austin TX, location is brand new and you can tell. So it was a nice surprise to not have skyrocket prices just because of that. I wish they were open a little later however 6am-9pm is very doable Also I wish there was hand sanitizer on each floor out side of elevator. But that's just me being picky during these COVID-19 times. One of the nicest touches after all is said and done is how the display screens welcome me and use my name. It feels like a warm welcome getting a personal message. Feels exclusive and I feel safe the entire time I'm on property. Oh and there's an awesome loading zone that is spacious for 4-5 vehicles to use at once. Thank you Public Storage! Keep up the great work!????
