Self Storage Plus - Durham - 3223 NC-55

When I called to check availability I asked if I could prepay for 1 year to lock in pricing. I was told that I could, all i had to do was notify the person at the office when I went to fill out paperwork. The day I was ready to move in/sign contract I was told that was not possible - 6 months was the longest time. "I need to find out who keeps telling people that" was what said in reply - which I stated "the intake call person". I had already cancelled my current contract and was ready to move in so it was not worth the effort to not proceed. I returned with my movers to load my items into the unit but access was denied. I go back to talk to office personel to find out my contract was not complete. And once again was told (by another employee) that this was not the first time this had happened....so it is obvious that process and procedure need to be worked on with the intake department. Bathroom was out of service and based on the note "Out of Service - QUIT USING THE BATHROOM" seems this was not a recent service issue.
