According to a recent Forbes report<\/a>, Tacoma is the No. 2 housing market to watch in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the report, nearly three out of every four houses sold in October 2020 being purchased within two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. There are jobs in Tacoma<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only is the housing market something to watch, but Tacoma\u2019s job market has a positive outlook<\/a> as well. Despite the coronavirus, jobs increased by 1.8% over the past year, with the average salary being more than $51,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to BestPlaces.net<\/a>, which scores cities on an index where 100 is the national average, Tacoma earns a score of just over 113, slightly above the national average but below the state average of Washington.
