Finding self storage near Barnard College

Barnard College is located in New York and is one of the best women’s colleges in the country. Barnard is just across the street from Columbia University, and students are able to take classes at the Ivy League school. Students at both schools are allowed to take classes and join clubs at both. There are nearly 2,400 students who attend BC to study majors like English, political science, psychology, and economics.

Barnard College works hard to make sure there’s plenty to be involved in on campus. BC is the only women’s college that offers NCAA Division I athletics and is represented by the mascot Mille the Dancing Barnard Bear. There are also 80+ clubs and organizations that are all student-run. There’s the Barnard Bulletin, a bi-weekly magazine put out by the students, and there’s also a radio station that students run called WBAR.

Nearly the whole first-year class lives on Barnard’s campus. There are 12 residence halls and four different Columbia residence halls available. Students may end up living in Hewitt Hall, Brooks Hall, Reid Hall, Sulzberger Hall, Cathedral Gardens, Plimpton Hall, Elliott Hall, or Sulzberger Tower.

Living on campus is a great option for those looking to fully experience campus life. The only thing that can be an inconvenience, though, is the fact that students need to move out at the end of each year. This can be a challenge for any student trying to figure out what to do with their things over the summer. If a student lives outside of the city, it makes more sense to temporarily rent a storage space instead of moving out completely. can take care of that!

By using, Barnard College students can search through an extensive directory of all the different storage facilities in New York. If you’re not sure what size unit to rent, you can always use our interactive size guide, too! It’s very easy to rent a temporary storage unit on
